Welcome to the website for Exeter Musical Society (EMS) formerly Exeter Amateur Operatic Society. The company first performed in 1904 and continues to produce a musical each Spring. There are currently over 50 members of ranging ages within the company.
We have just finished a very successful run at the Exeter Northcott Theatre with The Sound of Music and are now thinking towards April 2013 and our next production Guys and Dolls.
We are always looking for new members whether you wish to be behind or in front the curtains. If you would like to join our society and are not yet on our mailing list, please contact us with your details, or complete the application form to be a performing member.
We usually meet on a Monday evening when we are rehearsing leading up to a show from 7.30pm - 9.30pm at either the Coaver Club, Topsham Road or St Nicholas School, Ringswell Avenue.
